Highland homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Before Roof Repair Smedway was a name on a truck, our foremen were already up on ladders across Highland, WI, figuring out which shingle brands actually hold their seal through a rough season and which ones just look good in a showroom.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
We've replaced enough botched patch jobs from other companies to know exactly what corner-cutting looks like a year later — drywall stains, soft decking, mold nobody can see yet.
Proof of licensing before the first ladder goes up.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
No invoice surprises once work is underway.
We already know Highland's weather patterns and permit process.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
Homeowners in Highland often mention they'd noticed something off months before calling — a stain that seemed to fade, a shingle that looked slightly out of place after a storm.
If the water coming off your downspouts looks gritty, the shingle surface is thinner than it should be.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
Rooms that run noticeably hotter than the rest of the house often trace back to roof or attic issues.
Exposed underlayment is only a temporary barrier — it's not built to handle sustained exposure.
Whatever the issue — emergency, routine, or somewhere in between — it gets handled by a crew that specializes in that exact type of work.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
Every homeowner gets walked through material options before a decision is made, not after.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
Material selection is part of the replacement conversation, matched to your climate exposure and budget.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Ice-dam prevention, dormer flashing, and unusual roof pitches get handled by our senior technicians specifically.
Homeowners tell us the not-knowing is often worse than the repair itself, so we try to remove as much guesswork from the process as we can.
Call +1-844-212-9199, describe the issue, and dispatch routes it to the nearest available Highland crew.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Warranty paperwork is handed over the same day the job wraps.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Crews based in Highland, WI reach Highland faster than out-of-area companies quoting a multi-week wait.
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend — we don't push a replacement to inflate the invoice.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
If your address sits just past our standard Highland radius, dispatch can usually still work something out.
When a storm moves through Highland, WI and call volume spikes, active leaks get prioritized first while we communicate realistic wait times for everything else.
Homeowners just outside Highland proper sometimes assume they're too far for a standard visit, but our dispatch radius usually reaches further than people expect.
